After initial refusal in July 2022 of the reserved matters application for our Huby site, we have one year later won our appeal.
Located north of York, this picturesque village is a dream location amid some of the most spectacular scenery in England. With Castle Howard and the Howardian hills on the doorstep but also offering swift access to York and surrounding areas.
As a result of our appeal, we are delighted to be able to proceed with our development of the site and to provide 5 fantastic new 4 and 5 bed homes, each individually designed to take advantage of the location.

An exciting update from Skelmanthorpe as we drop the scaffold, and share how our beautiful new homes are taking shape.

With our site at Huddersfield Rd nearing completion this week and all homes sold, we move onto our next development, just down the road.
Station Rd in Skelmanthorpe is our newest project and we plan to follow the same winning template as previous sites: quality, high-specification homes in semi-rural locations that offer access to outlying towns and cities, yet with a peaceful aspect.
Just a pair of semi-detached properties in this popular village, we’re sure they’ll attract plenty of interest. The layout is over three floors with an integral garage and landscaped gardens, offering an ideal space for families.
Our development of four homes at Huddersfield Road has proved so popular that we’ve secured another small site nearby, on Station Road.
The new site is just two homes and we’re already drawing up plans to create a pair of exclusive properties with a high specification finish.
